Weather, power outages or any other unforeseen event can happen during a game. And you may wonder how do these events affect your bet?
Well, if the game has not started yet, all bets will have no action and will eventually be refunded. But if the game has started, interrupted and not completed, here are some general Las Vegas Sport Betting rules that apply.
Of course, the best rule is to always check with your preferred bookie to know of any particular rules.
For a football bet to have action, a game should be played for fifty-five minutes.
Football games that are played in less than 55 minutes shall be considered "No Action" and all bets are refunded.

Second half bets include overtime scores.
For a baseball bet to have action, a game is considered official (money line) after 4 ½ innings if the home team is winning, or 5 innings if the visiting team is winning.
If a baseball game is cancelled or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called).
Baseball games must be completed on the same day to have action.
For totals or run lines, a baseball game is considered official after 8 1/2 innings if home team is winning, or 9 innings if visiting team is winning. If the game does not go 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is winning), all totals and run lines are refunded.
If a game goes past 9 innings and is not completed because of rain, curfew, etc, there is action on game total and run line wagers. These will be graded based on the current score.
For a basketball bet to have action, NBA games are considered official after forty-three minutes of play. Meanwhile, college basketball games are considered official after thirty-five minutes of play.
Games played under the official time are declared "No Action" and all bets are refunded.

Second half bets also include overtime scores.
For an NHL bet to have action, a game becomes official after fifty-five minutes of play.

MLS games are declared official after 90 minutes of play plus injury time.

The full 18 holes will be considered in determining the outcome of the bet even if they are played on consecutive days.
